Úvodním podnikem letošního ročníku byl Československý pohár, za účasti týmu Jastrabi Inter Bratislava, jehož pořadatelství se ujal agilní oddíl TJ Jiskra Kyjov. V příjemném prostředí a přátelské atmosféře ratíškovické kuželny to byly kladné atributy tohoto klání, na které se sjelo celkem 36 hráčů a hráček z 11 oddílů. Záštitu nad tímto turnajem převzala Obec Ratíškovice v čele se starostou ing. Josefem Uhlíkem a předsedou kuželek Baníku Ratíškovice Viktorem Výletou. K soutěži jednotlivců v jednotlivých kategoriích se letos přiřadil Český pohár dvojic a těch bylo na startu celkem 13.
Kategorie B1
Tradičně nejméně obsazená kategorie přilákala do Ratíškovic 4 hráče. Své současné dominantní postavení potvrdil Josef Borýsek ze Sokola Brno IV ZP, který zvítězil velmi dobrým výkonem 656 bodů a od zbytku startovního pole se oddělil rozdílem doslova propastným. Na druhou stranu zbytek startovního pole se seřadil téměř do jedné roviny. Druhé místo obsadil domácí František Koplík z Jiskry Kyjov (420 bodů) a třetí skončila Kamila Vlasáková z SK Slavia Praha OZP (413 bodů). Ta odsunula na čtvrtou příčku Zdeňku Borýskovou z Tandemu Brno rozdílem pouhého jednoho bodu.
Kategorie B2
V této kategorií se o body utkalo 13 soutěžících. Velkou favoritkou byla obhájkyně vítězství Anna Paulusová z SK Michálkovice ZPS a ta tuto úlohu splnila bezezbytku, vítězný výsledek 683 bodů ukazuje na úvod sezóny velice dobrou formu. Zdatně ji na tomto turnaji sekundovala Žofia Škropeková ze Zraposu Opava (663 bodů). Čest mužů zachraňoval třetí Petr Mrkvička (rovněž ze Zraposu Opava) výkonem 648 bodů.
Kategorie B3
Nejpočetněji obsazená kategorie (13 hráčů) se postarala o nejhodnotnější výkony tohoto turnaje. Medailisté prokázali na úvod sezóny velmi dobrou formu. Třetí místo obsadil Václav Webr (709 bodů) z Jiskry Ústí nad Orlicí II – Hylváty. Druhý skončil slovenský hráč Vrablec Peter výkonem 715 bodů a na prvním místě za výkon 725 bodů se umístil náš dosud nejlepší hráč Karel Pařil z Brna.

Šest hráčů a hráček se utkalo o body v tomto turnaji. Další triumf do rodinné sbírky přidal Zdeněk Paulus z SK Michálkovice ZPS (622 bodů). Stříbro si ke kvalitní organizaci turnaje a navíc v pozici rozhodčího připsala Marie Gutová z Jiskry Kyjov (598 bodů). Bronzovou pozici získal benjamínek turnaje David Maška (560 bodů) ze Sokola Brno IV ZP.
